Hibiclens®
Available In The First Aid Aisle At Retailers Nationwide*

From smaller to larger sizes and liquids to foams, it’s the same trusted Hibiclens formula proven to be effective on a wide range of germs and bacteria1

The Hibiclens® difference

All Hibiclens® products feature chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) as the active ingredient. CHG is different than soaps because it safely binds to the skin to form a protective layer, without any sticky residue. It begins killing germs on contact2 and keeps killing them even after rinsing.

  • 1 in 31 hospital patients has at least one healthcare- associated infection.4
  • Patients with SSI have 2-11 times higher risk of death compared to operative patients without SSI.5
  • 60% of Surgical Site Infections are preventable.6

Hibiclens® has historically been recommended to use prior to and after surgery to help reduce the risk of surgical site and hospital acquired infections that can be caused by germs that live on the skin. It’s also been dermatologically tested as non-irritating and gentle for daily use3 while tough on germs! So you can use it for routine hand-washing to protect yourself and others from germs encountered every day.
